Session 16 – Roads and Rosewater

The Party begins by spending the night on the road, on the travel the next day they mat several pilgrims to Stormforde who shared tales of beauty and intrigue about Stormforde.

The party arrives without any Eagle attacks and their carriage is taken into the stables while they are escorted to the court.

Gary, the cheese monger goblin goes to seek medicinal help with his fungal infection.

Bob, the painter begs the party(insists) on coming with them to meet the king, his dream is to paint the royal portraits.

The party arrives at the court met by greeters, the King and his advisors.
detects thoughts on them to peer at surface thoughts.

Kitsune uses detect evil and good to discover that one of the advisors is not the human they appear to be… oddly enough, that one seems to like the party most of all.

The King proceeds to interrogate the party and they perform a show of lights and sounds to reenact the events leading to the volcano’s wild eruptions and floods all across the bay.

Seeing Serafina as the advisor to the king most influenceable and seemingly under some kind of spell, they invite her out to drinks and teach them some basics of the city, which she agrees to, so they go to the Golden Fleece, an in in the Cathedral district with the best Beer and Meade.

When they arrive there is an odd fellow unlike anyone in this area has seen before, May, they marooned Faery, least of all… A tall gruff Minotaur man. May proceeds to introduce herself and thus Bonk joins the party of Adventurers for libations to learn of his story.(to come later)

Serafina Quickmantle proceeds to tell the party of her story, as a local rising up through the ranks of the church of the dawnfather only to convert to the royal cult of Æ

Serafina left the Golden Fleece and Vesolnir went to the library and was attacked by a vampire on his way back to the INN to sleep.

The fight was interrupted by a Werewolf that was none other than Lady Avelyne de Merrowen – Adviser of the Heart who instructed Vesolnir to get home safe and trust nobody
