Before the Starfall X-0BSF the region was a coastal region inhabited primarily by indigenous seafolks, Fishmen, Ruk’Tai sharkmen, and the Tortulons. the starfall wiped out all life in the region, shattering the history and cultures of Drak’lira irreparably.
Starfall 800 years ago 0-800ASF A cosmic cataclysm reshapes the world, creating the Starbit Bay crater and disrupting magic by shattering the Weave. Many civilizations fall or transform.
0-40ASF the Age of Legends / Shattering of the Weave Divine magic fractures; many gods vanish or become distant. The Dawnfather remains as the sun’s light no longer depends on the Weave. Seven Legendary Heroes took up seven shards of the starfall to create artifacts of immense worth to help them beat back the terrible beasts and fiends that flooded the earth in the years following the starfall. Creatures that have not been seen since this age.
~100-200ASF the Resettlement of the Ruk’Tai
~100ASF Ruk’Tai begin resettling the region as they seek to reclaim thier ancestral memories.
127ASF the Tide Accords and founding of the Starborn Academy, a single tower built atop the Sanctum of Tides to keep it secret and safe.
~400ASF — The Founding of Caelumbra: A holy city is built around the Veiled Spiral, the bottomless sinkhole, becoming the religious and political capital with the Grand Churches established.
~500ASF the Human Colonial Era Astreheim expands across the shores of Starbit Bay, forcibly displacing the Ruk’Tai. They fund the construction of additional towers at the academy as the kingdom expands to subsume it.
800ASF – Present Day – Growing Mysteries
Myrrhalei beegins weaving a new tapestry of magic across the world.
The Leybough is Born, binding the leylines of the world to the multiversal world-tree Yggdrasil. It’s Crystalline needles weave the magics of the world into a new tapestry of spells for Myrrhalei.
Mol’Turakk is lifted from the Sea causing region coastal devastation and the lifting of undersea communities into the unbreathable air, a disaster only matched by the starfall. But in it’s belly grows the Leybough.
Tensions are rising as the world begins to change. Forces are beginning to move against the party as more people become aware of what’s happened
